I'm feeling Christmassy!!!

'tis the season to be jolly...

Current music: A Cappella Christmas Carols

Am now listening to some a cappella christmas carols by some local a cappella groups. Some tracks nicer than others. I had another CD performed by another group (can't remember the name, but not local), but can't find the disc... :( Was listening to Suuz's a cappella christmas carols CD in her car yesterday (by First Call) and just felt very Christmassy. Hence the title of this post, my MSN nick and my playlist in the car... :)

Was trying to arrange O Come O Come Emmanuel with alternative chords during Leng Kee just now. Just created a midi file. Feedback received: too hymn-like. Yeah, I thought so too... but just ran out of steam midway through the song. Now if only someone gave me some ideas! Was thinking of arranging this for SATB a cappella...

Had alumni rehearsal yesterday. Did Leong YP's Dragon Dance and Navarro's Pater Noster, both of which I sung before, so it brought back memories - pleasant and unpleasant.

Had dinner at Sketches at Bugis Junction, and coffee at Coffee Bean. Fun, as usual, with good company. Here're some photos taken during coffee last night...

On the left, grinning away from the camera is Karno, J2 this year. Just finished As, which explains why he's so elated, I guess... hahahah... Facing the camera is Qinghao ('00 batch), the biceps king who, if not busy being a student and taking photographs, spends a lot of time working out in the gym. The fingers on the right belong to Yvonne-jie ('90 batch).

That's David Charles Tay ('03 batch), with the an-zua look. Very rare to catch him at his ah-beng moment, so decided to post it for posterity...! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! :p

(photos taken courtesy of Geoff Ho, '03 batch and with my K750i.)

Last day of invigilation tomorrow! Yippee! Should be celebrating, but have CCA that afternoon... :( next week's very packed for me. Hope I don't fall sick... :(
