AMI... to be changed to CMI?

Has anyone watched season 4 of American Idol and followed it religiously? Well, I'm one such person. Not that I have nothing better to do, but it's one good programme for family bonding and a good conversation topic with friends and acquaintances. During every episode of it, my colleague and I never fail to message each other and bitch about the contestants and judges.

I'm very saddened by the voting out of Anwar Robinson. He is my American Idol this season - he's quite a funky music teacher, and I'm sure he makes his students enjoy his lessons. Singing wise, he has a unique quality, which doesn't suit all songs, but at least he sounds better than some other contestants (re: the teddy bear).

Which brings me to this (and I really hope that someone from Fox TV is reading this): can someone please please please get the judges replaced? Randy and Paula have been giving such politically correct answers! Yes, to be fair, they try to be nice to the contestants to neutralise the one with the nasty tongue, but what's the point of saying it when you don't mean it? It's quite appalling to hear them raving about the contestants when it's so clear that these same contestants were horrible! It thus will discount the credibility of these supposedly renowned ppl in the music industry. What's more, if these contestants are too proud to accept the horrible truth, they shouldn't be in this industry, cuz they definitely won't be able to accept the harsh criticisms if they ever should advance on into this line!

[Of cos, to turn the coin the other way, blame it on the audience who didn't vote enough to keep these talents in. Or maybe Americans all don't like talents like Anwar and Nadia... :(]

OK, I may be digressing a lot, but really, if this scenario continues, I may be boycotting this show. I rather spend my time watching The Amazing Race on AXN, which is definitely more entertaining than American Idol!
