My new bass!!!

I JUST BOUGHT MY BASS GUITAR!!!!

It's a Ibanez phat bass (4-string). Bought it yesterday at a 20% discount. I was choosing between this and the Fender, but the Fender cost twice as much. And the Fender was much heavier!!! Got scolded by parents as a result, tho... They thought it was like a 3-minute craze, that not versatile to play as a solo instrument, can't accompany solo singers, da da da... But I love playing the bass! (tho I suck at it!) So all the more i should get my own instrument and practise!!!! And they say I got a lot of money to spend, yaddah yaddah yaddah... Sigh... I guess parents will always be parents...

The sad thing is, when I tried connecting my bass to my amp, there wasn't any sound! So today I gotta go down to the shop again and get it fixed. Wasn't my day to get it, really. It was raining just as I was about to go to the shop, and had to wait super super long to get a cab home. And had to lug the bass and the amp home alone... sigh... But i'm looking forward to getting it fixed, then I can start to practise and play it more in church!
