wireless surf!

I bought a wireless network card on Monday. tried to do the cheapo way of tapping into other people's network from home, but without success. So i thought that my $59 went down the drain.

Am now at my club library. I remembered there was wireless surf available there, so I decided to bring my laptop and my card to try. After some configuration, it did work!!!! :) only that it's super unstable!!! keeps getting me disconnected!!! but at least it's better than nothing. But i think i better not risk downloading stuff from here... and the thought of being only able to access the wireless surf by lugging down my laptop all the way down from home... urgh...

must somehow find a cheap way to stay connected 24/7... any suggestions...?
