The Diary of a Wannabe Photographer

Having lots of fun with the 400D. Have added more accessories to it since the last post - a battery grip, a second battery, a cable release, and just today, a tripod (which I realised I kena ketok-ed quite badly but ahwell...) and a Matin padded neck strap. No additional lens(es) yet. But these will probably be what I'll be getting in the near future:

Parents found out about the camera, and were pleased with how the photos turned out, especially those of them! With the support of parents, church friends and colleagues, had the pleasure of taking photos at Chinese Garden, Civil District area, Esplanade-Fullerton area, Keppel Bay and Terminal 3. Some photos turned out nicer than others. Still learning how to get the settings right - can be quite frustrating when I frame something nice, but not knowing what settings to use to get that perfect shot. :(

Will be going to the club tomorrow for Mother's Day dinner. Hope to get some long exposure night shots of the club... Hopefully it's allowed. Hope to get my new toys tomorrow as well...
