New Cam(b)era - part 2

Was on MC today - had a headache since last nite. Slept the whole morning away, and woke up feeling slightly better. Found the opportunity to take photos around the house (pardon its messiness) with the 400D (while the parents are not home, of cos!). Took about 100 shots, but will post some of the more interesting ones.

Tried my external flash for the 1st time. Decided to put it to the test by shooting a photo of the store room without any lights on. Yes, it was pitch dark, and I couldn't see a thing through the viewfinder, so you could say I was almost shooting blind... This was one of the random shots...

For the longest time, I've been wanting to take photos of these 2 SK-II bottles... good example to show to teach similarity. :p The shots below:

For this photo, I was trying to create the clear foreground/blur background effect, so focus was in the smaller bottle...

Using the AI Servo mode to try to shoot the fish. Don't think that worked out too well... :(

This is interesting. I was shooting the reflection of the mirror, and set the focus on the sofa set in the background. The more I look the photo, the more I looked superimposed onto the background... hmm...
