The Mitsubishi EX Launch

Have been waiting for this for a long time - the private launch of the Mitsubishi EX held at Civic Plaza, exclusively for Mitsubishi owners! Went down with Daddy. Armed with my Cybershot, we went down to see the unveiling of the new car.

Getting there...

Took this photo from the billboard outside the showroom. Absolutely LURVE the display!

And upon entering the showroom, found out to my utmost delight there the car has a semi-auto gearshift!!! :) But it also has paddle shifts, which I found rather... "extra".

Reached there at 1830, and the place was quite empty, so had time to have a drink and look at all the unveiled cars, but by the time 1900 came, the place was starting to get packed...

6 variants of the EX were unveiled - the 1.5 Elegance and Sports, the 2.0 Elegance and Sports, the 2.0GT 5-Speed Manual (why 5-speed only????) and the 6-Speed CVT. Below are some pics... Badly taken cuz place was way too crowded... :(

The car's in all counts bigger and better than the current Lancer, except for less storage compartments (there's absolutely no place to put the cashcard!), and it still has no electronic foldable side mirrors... *sigh* May go down for a test drive tomorrow, but parents are not convinced that we should change our car now... :(
