Sounds of the Underground...

Experienced a fainting spell last night while visiting Dean's mum in NUH. Thank God for Sufen, KT and Terry who were with me at that point, although I know whatever happened to me probably must have scared them. Saw the GP, who attributed this to low blood pressure and not enough rest. So she gave me a day's MC today.

So am clearing up my room when I chanced upon this CD-shaped flyer mailed to me from the LTA re: the opening of the KPE. Apparently there are songs from the specially composed/compiled album Sounds of the Underground. Looking at the titles, how apt it is for me, man! One look at them, and you'll understand why...

1. Turn On The Radio
2. Don't Overtake
3. Don't Ever Stop
4. Look At the Signs
5. Jangan Memandu Di Pinggir Jalan (Don't Drive on the Side of the Road)
6. You Don't Need to Speed
7. 安全距离 (Mind Your Distance)
8. Turn On Your Headlights
9. Tyre Nee Maathathe (Don't Change That Tyre)
10. Don't Put It In Reverse

All these titles sound rather cheesy and commonsense. Some of the lyrics look quite.. "duh!". But this serves as a good reminder for all drivers.

Listening to the album now. (You can do so too at www.kpeunderground.sg) All songs locally composed (written by Mark Richmond's brother Don). Some tracks sound less tacky than others...

And Phase 1 of KPE opens tomorrow...!
