Museum Visit
Found out recently that my staff can get free admission to the new National Museum of Singapore, thanks to Nurul who got the subscription for the school. So Lish, Fran and I went with Nurul on the recce trip.
Before entering the tour of the museum proper, we were awed by the swinging lights hanging overhead...
We were given a interactive companion board with headphones to accompany us throughout the walk through the museum. Videos, artefacts and audio descriptions helped illustrate clearly the history of Singapore, from the time Sang Nila Utama discovered Temasek, to the time Raffles founded Singapore, all the way till the Japanese Occupation. Was very informative and educational. We were not allowed to take photos inside the museum, but we managed to take a photo of us with the Companion for posterity...
(L to R: Lishi, Fran, me and Nurul. And Madam Nurul had to spoil the photo by standing so far away and holding the Companion upside down... *sigh*)
