Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri...

Today's Hari Raya holiday was quite eventful. Went to Joycelyn's place to arrange the band + choral score for Tong Hua. Was like staring at the computer screen and getting adjusted to Finale 2005, which is definitely less user-friendly than the previous versions.

Had lunch at this Teochew porridge place at Cheong Chin Nam road. (There are actually 2 Teochew porridge places; we ate at the more crowded one.) Quite good food, and quite cheap. The bill came up to about $17.60. Quite reasonable.

Was supposed to play tennis after lunch, but spent too much time on Tong Hua, so we're pushing it back to Saturday. At least now Tong Hua is completed - one big project down. Next up: Amigos Para Siempre!

Went for dinner at Sakae Sushi at Wheelock Place, and thereafter to Borders where they were having a 20% discount off all books. Bumped into Jeremy and Yu Hsien (separately), the latter whom I also bumped into yesterday at Kino! Man! Quite freaky! Bumping into the same person on 2 consecutive days in the same kinda place. (Doesn't it make both of us geeks...?!?!?!?! :( ) Restrained myself from buying anything, while Joycelyn bought a book. (Can't remember the title, though the plot centres around music.) Walked outside Wheelock Place and saw a photo exhibition. Personally, I can't appreciate photos, but I must say they are very well taken.

Will be kinda busy the next few days. There's a Math Dept meeting tmr (which I need not attend, but I think I'd better since I can make it) and invigilation in the afternoon. Then there's tennis and worship leader's meeting on Saturday; church, Jenny's wedding rehearsal and Lisa Ono concert on Sunday. May not have time to blog, but will try to squeeze in the time if I can...
